Bonding & Fun - Kuantan trip

Really blessed by this trip…bonding with family is really fun! Especially with mom & granny. *smiles* So much of sight seeing, laughter, sweat (mountain climbing) & FOOD!

Apr 30th, 6.00am ~ 7.45am
Sunday morning. Is sad that I have to skip church. Woke up at 6am then headed to Uncle’s friend’s stall to have breakfast. 15 of us gathered at Old Klang Road. After we had the best CHAR KUEY TEOW in Old Klang Road (so call), we start our journey at 7.45am.

Apr 30th, 7.45am ~ 11am
The whole journey was tiring. Though we took the new road, but having 4 person at the back seat was an ‘OUCH’!! Butt cramp all the way! (O_o)

Apr 30th, 11am ~ 12.30pm
Finally we’ve arrived to where we booked for our lunch break. Yummy! Food! We had our 1st lunch, and oh boy, so much food! SEAFOOD!...So much & it only cost RM17 perhead! Eating seafood in Kuantan is cheap. *thumbs up*

Apr 30th, 12.30pm ~ 3.00pm
After a yummy lunch we went to Teluk Chempedak. THE BEACH! The last beach I visited was the Redang trip. It was so beautiful! Hot! But we enjoyed it so much. So relaxing. Apr 30th, 3.00pm ~ 4.30pm
We checked into the hotel after that. 4 *’s hotel called Hotel Vistana. So tired! Uncle advice us to take some rest before the great journey to have the most famous Baked Crab in Kemaman, Terengganu! *drooling*

Apr 30th, 5pm ~ 6.15pm
The journey to Chukai town, Kemaman took us quite a long. But sight seeing was awesome!...sea side. So calming *smiles* There are many restaurants in town but only 1 capture Uncle’s taste bud. *laughs* So we tried the food. It was…phuiiyooo! YUMMY! Especially the mouth watering SATAY PRAWN & the most yummy BAKED CRAB! *click pic to enlarge*

Apr 30th, 7.45pm ~ 8.30pm
Head back to the hotel, & on our way, there was an accident. A motorcyclist died on the spot! Lying down in the middle of the road. Then few feet away from him, there was a 4wheel drive vehicle skidded into the bush. Sigh…such a tragic. What a havoc outside & also inside our car!! Aunty, Mom, granny including myself, ‘eeww-ing’ away & complaining about the accident. Hmmm

Apr 30th, 8.45pm
We’re back! To the hotel *smiles* so tiring. Mom & I chilling around in the room, and I just doze of like that at about 9.15pm…early? *smiles* you’re about to know what time I have to wake up the next day.

May 1st, 3.45am
Morning call!!... yup, is the day! We’re gonna climb Lembing Hill!!...not actually mountain once I found out. Anyways…had breakfast, gathered at the lobby at 5am & guess what?, nobody is available at the lobby!...I mean at least, someone must be available at the reception counter. But the whole hotel lobby was EMPTY!...SCARY!

May 1st, 5am ~ 6am
Journey to Sg. Lembing took us exactly 1hour. Once we arrive, they are few tourist buses already arrived before us. We started our hill climbing at 6am. So crowded!! People actually Q-ing up to watch the sun rise. But as we climb higher & higher, we can see sum people gave up, some too tired to climb anymore. Giving up is not in my dictionary *smiles* this hill is much easier than what I had in Gasing. So ‘sup sup sui’ ‘wetwetwater’ hahahahaha… The rest reach to the top. While I’m in the middle waiting for mom. Mom need to come with us for weekly exercise. She is worse than me!... But finally she made it! *smiles* proud of her.

The view is just awesome!!... is like those Chinese painting. Really heavenly. Of cos our Heaven will be billion times much beautiful than what I’ve seen up there *smiles* we‘re so anticipating to watch the sun rise!...it was so beautiful! *loved* lovely jus lovely… *click pic to enlarge*

May 1st, 8.00am
We finally reach the ground. 1000m up 1000m down. *bravo* Why need to go Gunung Kinabalu, when I’ve seen the sun here?...*laughs* alright I don’t wanna boast here. Of cos I will go for it! Is totally different experience!!... 4000m+!!

Had breakfast at the market. YONG TAU FOO! Yummy! & Curry meehoon noddle…*thumbs up*

May 1st, 8.45am ~ 10.00am
2nd mountain climbing. Which I didn’t take part. We went to Panching & climb the mountain to see the Buddha statue, well only uncle & his friends, including mom. This is why I’m not taking part. ‘Susah – susah’ climb just to see the statue. NO WAY! So me & granny chilling around.

May 1st, 10.00am
back to the hotel.

May 1st, 12.30pm
Checked out & off to Teluk Chempedak again to have the most best selling CURRY LAKSA noodle!! Yummy!! HOT! HOT!But one big bowl is not enough. Just half tank filled. So after the noodle, we drove to the town, to have another round of SEAFOOD for lunch. Wow…so nice!...fish – fresh!!

May 1st, 2.00pm
After those heavy lunch, we went to the nearest ‘ham yue’ shop. What else, bought lotsa ‘ham yue’ aka salted fish. Yummy…Sotong, Dried fish fillet!! Yummy!

Bye bye to Kuantan…

Had so much fun! Too bad dad & bro can’t join us *sad* family bonding is definitely FUN! Thank God for uncle, he’s our best tour guide around Kuantan! *applause* Thank you JESUS! For making this a fun trip & His protection upon us.
