Day 17 hours journey was tiring. Slept through out the whole journey. Watch the sun rise. It was beautiful. Was having jetlag. Very dehydrated.
Day 2Arrived at the Kansai Airport, Osaka at around 7:30am. Boy, the weather was *thumbs up* love it!…once arrived, we start snapping pics around, really like typical tourist. Well, is part of learning/case studies. Learning & observing their construction & concept.
We took 45mins bus ride to our first stop, Universal Studio Japan. Hollywood Movie Theme Park of the world. The place was awesome!. Feel like your part of the movie. Buildings were astonishing. Though is fake but it looks real! I don’t know how to describe it, you must see the pics *smiles* So many different themes such as Terminator, Hello Kitty, Snoopy, Spider Man, Sesame Street character, Jurassic Park, Popeye, Jaws, Water World & many more! *Phew* can’t name it all. *smiles * oh yah I bought my favorite Sesame street character! ELMO! Muaks!
After the whole day of fun (feet getting really painful), we had our Chinese food for dinner. Sigh…talking about food, really upset me *sad * After that, we check in to the hotel. Surprisingly all the hotels that we stayed was quite spacious. Compare to my previous visit in Nagoya.
After we check in, bathe, rest well, we decide to explore more about Japan. So few of us, took a map & start walking & asking for direction to go to the most happening place, Nemba. It took us quite a while to reach to our destination. We took the subway train, the place & the whole journey was exciting. *smiles* knowing that Japanese can’t speak English & we don’t understand their language, yet we still manage to get there. Nothing really special in Nemba cos all shops & malls closed at 8pm, Msia time 7pm. So depressing. We headed back to hotel after a couple of shots.
Day 3After breakfast, we proceed to Nara. Temple visitation the whole day. First temple, Todai-ji Temple. The largest wooden building in the world with over 1000 tame dear. Lotsa dear, wandering around, Japanese claim that the dear are the messengers of their gods. A lot of pics snapping as usual. *smiles *
Day 4The Bullet train ride!!…the moment I’ve been waiting for. Bullet train ride is the most expensive ride in Japan, more costly than the domestic flight. A train ride like this cost RM1200. Just one station away, from Toyohashi to Hamamatsu. Yup, is just like it’s name, bullet…as fast as a bullet. U can’t feel its coming, u can’t hear it. No one able to capture it, Cool huh.
After the fun ride, we headed to Owakudani valley, famous for its hot spring eggs. Black eggs. Then a short cruise ride on Lake Ashi, beautiful scenery. After the lunch, we headed to Mount Fuji, but because of weather, our trip to Mount Fuji, cancelled. *sad * Sigh.
We arrived at the Hot Spring hotel in Kyoto. I’ve experience soaking in but this time I was quite hesitating to soak with the rest of the colleagues. Shy la. But after the pool visitation, I find Japanese were quite open-minded. May be I should try dip in with Candy & Aunty Julie. We’re quite open-minded as colleagues. We clean ourselves first, then wrap ourselves with robe, went down to the pool, close the sliding door, & strip off! Just a face towel, we quickly ran to the outdoor pool & quickly dip in. *laughs * Dip for 15mins. It was awesome!…we scrubbed each other & fellowship. Hahaha…a very good night sleep after the hot dip.Day 5
Went to visit another temple in Tokyo. Kannon Temple. That’s where I found the most unique coke at the vending machine. 650ml can coke. *smiles* I’m so bored of temples. Sigh…All we’re looking forward into is Shinjuku, the most happening place in Tokyo. After the last temple visit, we headed to Ginza for our Japanese lunch (finally!) Ginza is the most expensive place to shop it is quite similar to Orchard Road in Singapore. Lotsa Shopping mall. How expensive?? I can name some. Burberry, Fendi, Cartier, Tiffany & Co, Gucci, Dior & etc. I can’t afford to shop at these places. But Stan manages to shop his RM300 Burberry t-shirt in less than 25mins!! That is real gone mad! Hey I’m not the worse alrite, He’s worse than me. Shopping with Stanley will only make me spend more *bleh*
After lunch we drop by to Toyota Showroom. Which I think is a waste of time. But anyways I still manage to capture some shots in the showroom. Latest car design. But none of us are interested to walk around. *bleh *
After the boring car visitation, FINALLY we get to go to Shinjuku. The most happening place to shop!!…believe it or not, they have 5 Isetan department malls. All located at different street. They even have Isetan just for men & women. For women, they have 4 levels!!…very impressive. Though I’m glad we’re in Shinjuku, but I still can’t shop because is too expensive. The only place that I can afford to buy stuff is, the convenient store & vending machine. *smiles* pathetic! We visited electronic shops, which they sell cheap iPod! Really! An iPod video 30G, cost only RM1080 after conversion. IPod Nano 1G cost only RM400+. Oh…so tempting! (Wei luen went crazy wen i told him this) *laughs* Wow! So tiring after the walk. Almost every night I need to soak my feet into the hot tub.
Day 6
Final day! Is Disneyland day!! Welcome to Tokyo Disneyland! I feel like a child all over again! So exciting! It was a magical place. Get to take pics with the 7 dwafs, Popeye & Olive, took pics of Mickey, Donald, Daisy, Minnie, Goofy, Chip & Dale, Alice, Snow White & her prince, Cinderella & her prince & much more!! We went for the fun rides too!! Had the humongous smoked turkey drumstick!! Yummy! & SHOPPING!! Disney stuff is so pretty & also pretty expensive. I didn’t get to take pic with Donald, didn’t manage to see the magical castle (Disney trademark) still under construction =( & didn’t manage to get Disney design coke. Sigh…oh well it was awesome!
After the tiring fun at Disneyland, we had our dinner & check in to the hotel nearest to Narita airport. We had our little drink after the hot bath, I order the Blue Hawai cocktail. So sweet & yummy. Love the Long island as well. Julie went tipsy after a cup of Vodka Lime. So funny. She started to talk nonsense. We had a great laugh at her. We call it a night & can’t wait to go home.
Day 7
Time to go home. I miss home. Especially my family & also YOU! *smiles * Another 7 hours plane ride. This time I get to sleep & also watch Harry Potter 4 & Dick & Jane. Once arrive at the airport, I just want to go home & sleep.
The whole trip is so much fun! Though the food is sux! & the useless tour guide. Sigh better not mention it but overall it was superb! I’m so blessed by it. God really answer my prayer. Thank you Jesus for this wonderful gift. I’m walking in my inheritance!
