I've never experience this kinda situation before. Life & death situation. Not me, it happened to my boss's PA, Julie..
Yesterday at 6pm, we heard our air cond turn off (cos we set timer), then i went to do some paper clipping outside my boss's room, then i heard some one calling 'boss'. A voice that is so soft, i thought i heard 'something' else...then my boss gush out, & asked his PA, 'Julie what happen?'...i went out second, follow by the rest in the studio. She was trying to grasp oxygen, trying to breathe so badly, so i calm her down, directing her to breathe normally, her hands were cold.
My boss call the ambulance, before that he's asking us what's the number, my junior answered, 911... (watched too much movie lar tu..) some one shouted 999...the other colleague said, we can't afford to wait for the ambulance to arrive, so he carry Julie to the door way, & she collapse.. I wanted to burst out that time, but i hold it. Was praying in tongues intensively inside my heart, saying nothing but follow whoever who gave instruction. We make her lay down side way on the floor, so that she can breathe better. It works! She was trembling & her whole body was numb.
My director went out to seek nearest GP doctor & another lady colleague of mine went out to the nearest ambulance. Yes, there's an ambulance on stand-by at the Bomba station. My director came back 1st. The doctor check on her, & said ' she's suffering hyper ventilation, is she in anxiety?' errr, how are we suppose to know?... she was fine the whole day.. The doc asked her to breathe with the plastic bad. She's much stable now...
We heard the ambulance siren.. looking out from my desk, people gathered outside their shop, typical malaysian (penyibuk)... Julie doesn't want to go to the hospital, but we insisted. My colleague went with her & boss left early as well. Everything was under control... an hour later, the 999 dept called to my boss & saying that their ambulance will arrive to the office from Sg. Buloh, what da??!!... the urgent call were made an hour ago!!...that's why lar, Malaysia... haih!!
Thank God she's ok now... resting at home... it was a horrific situation to face. She is just my colleague but i love her. Cos she is the one who brought me to RLC. Without this servant of God, i won't be in RLC & I won't get to know Jesus deeply. Thank you Jesus...
