I just got promoted :) boss gave good feedback about my 2008 performance yesterday during appraisal. I'm just glad. But 1 thing slack is, i got the new position but no increment. (-_-)... here are the conversation with my close 1's.
Called mom yesterday.
Me: Mee! I got promoted!
Mom: (playing mahjong) WAH?! so 'keng' ar?... very good. How much your increment?
Me: No, only 100 ringgit, allowance.
Mom: HAR?! (told her friends that she is taking a short break from mahjong)... 'yau mou kau chor ar?' why your boss like that wan?
Me: What to do?, nowadays economy...
After that, i call Dad.
Me: Dee! I got promoted!
Dad: Oh ok (as usual, he is cool)
Me: but with no increment. Just 100 only, as allowance.
Dad: 'Tiu'...tell your boss, you don't need the position, you need more increment.
Me: *laugh*... wat to do...be thankful i still got job & not retrench.
Met the Lion in gym, & after gym he ask,
Lion: Only added 100 ringgit??... for what?
Me: Allowance lor...
Lion: Aih... never mind. You can pump twice with that.
Yah, i know it was kinda disappointed. I'm glad i'm being promoted (errr like finally!) it is the job scope that i like to do. I'll be able to be independent. I like what i'm doing now unlike few months ago. Just sit in the office... boring!
Praise God for what He has given. What ever it is, i give thanks for it.
During the appraisal, i oso ask for a bigger desk & Boss grant my wish. *smiles*... *ask & it shall be given to you*... so after CNY, i'll shift to a corner!..yay! finally i got a corner for myself.

What the? My company, although very kedekut already comparing to other similar business companies... increment also at least RM500 for promotion -_______-
Nevermind la. At least better than chinapek company.
