Had a great weekend. Yup..another bonding session with my family... This time I wana bless them dinner especially my dad..since his birthday is this coming wed (14th) … Uncle Steven, Aunty Lily, Big Uncle & his wife was invited too… Had our dinner in Sepang (1hour drive)…though is far but the Food was nice & kindof different from other Chinese restaurant. We had great chat almost anything!!...is fun seeing the adults teasing one another…esp the husband & wife. Another 1hour journey back after dinner… tiring but satisfying. *yummy*
When it comes to fellowship with family, there are few things that I already expected it…that means I already prepared for the answer… 1) Job 2) Travel plans (my family are aware that I love to travel) & finally…do I plan to settle down?…tat means..do I have a boyfriend?!!...sigh…*big sigh*…well, I will not share what we’ve spoken about, last nite…my thank God my family are quite supportive. Here are some comments they made;
Uncle Steven: Nowadays I see those youngster ‘pak toh’ (dating), gals are the one spend the boyfriend…last time we go dating…gals no need to pay for anything!..this is gentlemen’s job.
Everyone agreed… *me speechless*
Big Aunty: I agree…gals are so generous nowadays…boys just wanna save their $$ to buy their own toys..NO GENTLEMEN!! (cina apek style of speaking)…or may be they just ‘kiamsap’ (stingy) *she started getting emo*
Mom: Nowadays gals & guys want the 5 C’s…condo, car, credit card, cash & career…
Aunty Lily: Boys nowadays want gals to be independent…must have car one…
*SIGH*…do you agree with those statement?...

I dunno abt other guys, but for me, if it is up to ME to decide, i won't want my baby to pay a single sen when we're out..

well, let's put it this way.. gals are more independent now. hehe. we dun need to depend on guys buying us stuff. but then again, there are guys who take it for granted. hmph. doesnt mean u guys have to stop pampering us k!

well i definitely do not approve of the girls taking advantage. i'd feel really bad. that's why i will insist on paying, and as far as i recall... i have *always* been paying, hmmm.

But i neva minded that (taken advantage of) cos as long as the other person is happy, whether saintly or wickedly... doesn't matter to me lor... wouldn't want to know which one either... ignorance is sometimes a BLISS
