RLC Family Camp @ Riviera Bay Resort, Malacca 15 - 17 November 2004 REFRESHED TO PROSPER
Family camp!! finally!..had a great time during camp, all the skit, hotel food (yucks), chicken rice ball, i missed satay celup, the worship was fantastic!!..Wat can i say, family camp is getting better each year..Message was good! A NEW SEASON IN ALL AREAS!..love that message by Pas.Vernon & Pas.Joshua..God loves a risk takers!.. Great roomies!..Jamie, Angeline & Jaslyn.
Didn't really enjoyed much, cause we (jamie&myself) aren't suppose to do any skit! ARRGGHH!!...Pastor set us up!..sigh..i think we'll enjoy more if we don't get involve in any skit...the first night, we missed our 'celup celup' with the rest, cos we're worried about the skit..so we have sista Grace n Angeline to help us!..Boy..they are so good at it..seriously lor..i didnt contribute much except jus follow the script and act on it. Sigh..

Oppss dun forget Mark too!...all the while i thot he's a introvert person..phobia of being on stage..he surprised me!..GREAT JOB darling shan!
The next day, jamie & myself didnt really enjoy much too..they planning to go kayaking or beach volleyball..but weather sucks!..well the guys went on with their beach soccer while me, jamie, jaslyn and jamie's sista Carol went to Mahkota Parade and had Baskin Robins! Yum! 2nd nite!! Are we ready to perform? NO!!.. jamie n myself rehers for the 1st & also the last time..it went quite well..so is up to God lar..Is not about winning but is about letting people know the message of the skit. MISSION 'IM' POSSIBLE. iT went very well! im proud of it. And we've got 2nd place! Yahoo!..that nite almost everyone came to my room..!!..we're planning to play 'chor tai di' some chit chatting and taboo!..only taboo game lasted til almost 4am!..I enjoyed myself playing taboo with Daniel, Francis and the rest!..He's a funny fella.
Last day!!..woke up at 8am..almost forgot about Esther's bday..but i couldnt make it also. Sigh..I was so so tired and sleepy.. before the sermon started, i wanted to sit at the back..incase i doze off..BUT aunty Peggy came up to me & asked me to sit at the front..So i sat infront lor..SO SLEEPY!..i manage to 'tahan' thru out the sermon. Is check out time!..After checked out, me (with ben's family) and francis went to town and had out chicken rice ball!! FINALLY! muaahaha!..and we met Jamie's group..then we drop by 'Tan Kim Hock' place to have durian cendol..'sedap'!! After that we heading back to KL..Wooo...
17th-20th Nov
My grandad passed away on 17th 5.10pm..i was shocked when i received the sms from my dad..tho im not close to him, but it breaks my heart..the last time i saw him, is when he's lying on the bed with both legs & hands tie up. Sad..(look down)..but God is good..he accepted the Lord when he was still able to walk last time..and my grandma too accepted Jesus during the memorial service. I praise God for his kindness, and his faithfulness..I wanna thank all my good frens who attended the memorial service. Thanks for your generous condolencies..Your presence really encourage me. I love you guys!..
Thurs First Nite
The memorial service was held in Sg Besi Old airport road, funeral parlour. We have it 'christian' style of memorial..My mom came home in the afternoon..service started at 8.30pm. Many relatives and friends or colleagues came to pay our last respect to my grandad..really appreciate it. I was so tired..was tired since i was in the camp..
Fri Second Nite
Woke up at 9am in the morning. Heading straight to the parlour after breakfast. Still very tired. Well gotta be strong i told myself..We didn't expect so many people comin for the memorial service at night..I was so touched when i saw Esther, Ivy and May Ee came for the service..then came whole bunch of youth!! haha..thanks frens!..We had a good laugh at all we can think of to chat after the memorial service..Introduce my parents to them..they starting to comment about me & my mom..saying that we both look very alike!!..talk so alike and the laughter too!! VTEC!..oh gosh..i cant stop laughing about it. Well after they left, i manage to catch up with some of my parents childhood frens..those uncles. They told me how my parents actually met..and they know me since i was born..tat's very interesting..and i asked for courting tips from them! hiak hiak..i called it a day at 11pm.
Sat Morning
Woke up at 9am..still feeling sleepy & tired. Went to parlour and waited there til 1.30pm. We pay our last respect to grandad..& head off to the cremation centre.. is so sad..it reminds me of my grandfather(mom side). But i have peace, I know where's my grandad now..He's now with Jesus. *smile*
